[Rise of the MK:Part 3]

The epitome of the reason I hate plot twists.

Okay, I'll be blunt. The graphics were good -- nay, great. The animation rocked, the custom sprites rocked, etc. etc. and all that crap. BUT... I did NOT like what you did with the plot. Parts 1 & 2 were epic -- I actually cried (a bit) at Mario's funeral. Okay, the fact that it was all a dream and Luigi has time to save Mario was cool -- BUT FOR GOD'S SAKES WHY DIDN'T HE JUST TACKLE MARIO OUT OF THE WAY TO AVOID GETTING HIMSELF KILLED?!!!? Thanks to you, it has now been proven once and for all that the whole world hates Luigi (he didn't even get a decent funeral, and God knows where those mushroom retainers are going to dump his severed corpse). Thanks a bunch.

Man, I can't begin to describe how great that was. Certainly worthy of the top 50, by a long shot. It was just a bit short, but very sweet. Mmm... ice cream...

Second movie?? Holy poop on a stick!

I have to say, for the second movie you're submitting, this is VERY good. It did seem just a bit drawn out, but the job on the graphics and animation is SUPERB. Very original and nicely executed concept too. Keep this up and you'll be schooling the rest of us in no time. ;)

I'd have given the whole thing a higher rating if it had a freaking DECENT ENDING. So everyone but that one guy is dead, and he presumably has the song playing in his head. So then wtf happens? We should at least get to see him die too. :p

Overall, pretty good, but I really think it needs a better ending.

I love seeing something like this now and then, that breaks the generic formula of Newgrounds submissions and strives for a short piece with concentrated humor, rather than dragging it out forever or spanning it across a 3-part series. ;p Admittedly, it did seem a little short, but it was VERY well done, and totally hilarious.

Severely underrated.

From one fanimutation artist to another, I can sincerely say that I see the tremendous amount of work you put into this, and frankly it's a fantastic result -- I don't know WHY the score is so low. I really don't.

Give it time though -- my fanimutation started out below 2.0, but slowly crawled up to 2.4. Either way, this is some VERY good stuff, and you shouldn't be discouraged by its current score. Two thumbs up. :)

Dude, this movie TOTALLY deserves to get #1 of all time. I'm not surprised it took you so long for something like that! You've come a long way, now let's see this level of professionalism used in some more short animations. :D

Two thumbs up, WAY up. Heck, this practically beats the stuffing out of Rise of the Mushroom Kingdom!

DUUUDE!!

I was wondering when you'd get around to this game! Bubble Bobble has GOT to be my favourite classic arcade-style game of all time! I totally agree about the MF-ing impossible levels, but with a lot of practice they aren't so hard. One side note, though: I'm a GTA fan, *AND* I like the cute dinosaurs. So that craps on your theory. ;p

Wicked episode overall, very nice portrayals of the game's graphics, and hilarious spoofing of the various features. "Hey there little fella, wanna Milkbone?" Next time you should do Excitebike -- I'm curious to see how "MF-ing impossible" Guido will find the later levels.

Well, it's not really a theory - I enjoy Bubble Bobble and GTA too :) But it seemed like the most appropriate game to use in order to get the joke across. Damned puke effect took forever to do o_O

Excitebike might be a tough game to do - it doesn't have a lot of content. It's basically just 5 or 6 levels, if I remember correctly. I'll definitely look into it though.
